After graduation, Dassuncao remained in Cambridge, Mass. During his senior year at MIT, Dassuncao worked as a research assistant at the university’s Sea Grant, a network of programs funded by the U. Department of Commerce’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that works to “promote the conservation and sustainable development of marine resources through research, education, and outreach.” After graduating MIT and before starting at Harvard, Dassuncao worked as an analyst at Waltham, Mass.-based consulting service firm Cadman, which specializes in energy efficiency, sustainability reporting, water, sustainable transportation, homeland security, high performance building, strategic communications, public health, social marketing, air quality, international development and renewable energy, according to the company website. He’s been a researcher at Harvard from 2011 to present.
